So here I start with a series of old tours.

The tour is called Destination Valhalla and lasted 72 days. I will add almost every day because it was really adventure and I think it's super great.

Today is the second day of my tour.



I haven't driven much because I have to plan where to stay. That's why I always have to find a campsite. It's not like that in Scandinavia because I'm allowed to camp (almost) everywhere there.

Day 3 of the Tour Destination Valhalla.



The weather wasn't so good, but it was bearable. I had to pack everything up again. On such tours you need time for it every day.

Day 4 comes today. It's a very short distance by bike, but I was on the ferry (from Travemünde to Malmö) the whole day.



In the great weather I was able to enjoy the ride and take a lot of photos.

That was my first experience with a ferry and my first visit to Sweden.

Day 5 of the tour.



After the relaxing night in Lomma, I drove on with full strength. Sweden was unknown to me, but the weather was great and I really liked the track.

Day 7 of the tour. I did not describe the day before.



Last night I stayed with a woman on Almö. That was the first time someone offered me accommodation by chance. I met Erika who has a girlfriend. She likes to help tourists like me. I found your house without any problems. We talked a lot and she prepared… meer lezen

On day 8 I continued to Kalmar.

The day before I had the opportunity to camp at Fabbesjön. It was really great.



Again everything had to be packed up on the bike. After that I was able to enjoy the route across Sweden. The landscape here is really beautiful. If someone has the opportunity to go on a trip… meer lezen

That day (9) was pretty interesting. I had a lot of fun, but also trouble. It all started in Ekövägen, where I camped yesterday. From there I was shortly in Kalmar. I visited the castle there.

Today comes day 10 of the trip.

Yesterday was a good day, but the night was pretty bad. I wanted to share that today.

At night people arrived at the beach who were pretty loud and at some point they threw small stones on my tent until I went out. Then they ran away. I was pretty pissed off and I couldn… meer lezen

Day 11 of my biggest trip.



Usually I went towards Stockholm and for today I had a good route that wasn't that long, but I am making progress.



Somehow I've always been lucky with the weather up until now and that's pretty great because my gear wasn't good for rain. But that was all I had then.

Day 12 is coming now.



It was a beautiful day. I visited an old church in Edsbruk. Then I went to Valdemarsvik. I liked the city very much. I stayed there for a while and took some pictures.



On this day, I also covered my first 1,000 km. But that was something. You have to start somewhere.

I left Marby and shortly afterwards I was in Norrköping. I really liked the city and took a lot of photos there. The cactus garden made a good impression on me. Really great.

I hardly took any photos that day. I only recorded the sunset at the end of the day.



Still, the day was great. I've met interesting people. One was from Belgium. He was also out and about with his bike. His route was from Belgium to Russia and back. Respect.

Day 15 of the Tour Destination Valhalla.



A short distance towards Stockholm. I didn't want to drive a lot that day because I wanted to stroll around Stockholm. Of course I did. But for such a big city you need a couple of days. In my case it was a couple of hours. Nevertheless, I visited the city center… meer lezen

Day 16 of the trip.



That day I took the ferry from Stockholm to Turku in Finland.



At the port I met some people who had been cycling for a long time. A man from Germany and a woman from Finland + another man from Finland. We sat together and talked about our experiences and ate something. It was really… meer lezen

The trip goes on. I am moving towards Helsinki, but that we will take a little longer.



Some of my equipment has given up - the power banks that I brought with me. They are very important to the landing of my cell phone. When you go on such a long tour, you have to watch out for the power supply. In my… meer lezen

On day 19 I made the Salo - Espoo route in Finland. My goal was to reach Lake Bodom. One of my favorite volumes (Children of Bodom) comes from there. Unfortunately, it no longer exists since 2019. But I wanted to go there and hear the band and have a beer.

I stayed at Lake Bodom for a few days (19 and 20). It is now day 21 and I am driving towards Helsinki. I said goodbye with Bodomsee. I had a good time there and visited a place that I have wanted to see for a long time.

The weather wasn't good anymore and I found out how long it can rain in Finland.



I wanted to visit a lot of big cities here and Lahti is one of them. So far I think the route is good because there isn't that much traffic… meer lezen

Although I am on the move almost every day, I do not get any further that quickly. But Finland is not a small country. I try not to go so deep into the wild because my equipment is not good at all. If something happens to the bike, I always have to find an easy way to get… meer lezen
