Touren im Allgäu

Finally again for a week in the Alps.



Today at the start a quite remarkable tour on Hirschberg and Spieser with a lot of variety on the route. The weather was also fantastic.

The Ostracher via ferrata was on the program this morning.

The climb is very well signposted and easy to reach.

Because there was still time after the via ferrata, we spontaneously made a tour from Oberjoch through the Wildbachtobel up to the Iseler Platz house.



The Iseler Platz Haus is only open, if at all, on Saturday and Sunday.

We actually wanted to go to the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus today.



But due to bad planning, the bus was just gone.



Because of the many hikers in the direction of the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus, we made an alternative tour that was much quieter.



The weather was fantastic again.

Unfortunately, the cell phone on the via ferrata used up massive amounts of battery, so that the battery at the eagle's nest was empty.



Otherwise great tour. You should have the equipment for the Friedberg via ferrata.

Tour 23 uit de Rother wandelgids Allgäu 1.

Een weekend in de Allgäu met het beste weer. Vandaag was een winterwandeling / sneeuwschoentocht u.a. op de Burgberger Hörnle. De tour was soms een beetje uitdagend voor mij als sneeuwschoenbeginner. Ik moet hier meer tijd nemen dan op een zomerwandeling. Maar het is een heel andere beleving dan in de zomer.

Vandaag een mooie tocht een stukje ten zuiden van mijn locatie. Hoewel ik meer toerskiën en sneeuwschoenwandelen was gezien het weer, viel het mee tot aan de Sonnenkopf.

Gisteren een korte tocht over de Wertacher Hörnle met een prachtig uitzicht richting de Tannheimer bergen, Ammergauer Alpen en Wetterstein.
