Hike through natural alluvial forests

Scenic diversified round which leads one on the western side around Vilseck. You always have a view from a different perspective on the medieval city

I used the rainy morning and added the descriptions of all art trails as highlights to the walk.



The Vilsauen with the art trail are a place where you can let your mind wander and which invites you to linger.

A great hike on a nice winter day with great light to take pictures.

The route is of course not only beautiful in winter 😊

Since the weather forecasts for today were not really uniform, we decided to take the Hammergut hike. It's been a few years since we did the hike (back then between Christmas and New Year).

At the end of our holiday week, with rather small but still fine hikes as a conclusion, a tour right outside the front door.

It was a bit damp from above in places and it wasn't the tour that I had actually planned. But the tour was still nice and a service of friendship on top of that. A few photos worth seeing were also taken out by the way. So what more do you want? 😊

The tour was more of a spontaneous decision, because from our living room after lunch I saw the snow on the ridge near Hohenzant glow in the sun.



And as so often, the spontaneous decisions are the best 😊

This morning, after it had lightly snowed, we did the historic city tour of Vilseck.



This year it was a good alternative to the unfortunately canceled night watchman tour, which takes place every year on December 30th.

This afternoon, thick snow clouds hung over the landscape and the snow crunched underfoot. Sometimes we were the first on the paths 😊 The silence was wonderful and the ideal continuation of the 🧘 in the morning.



The tour is varied, leads over wide meadows and fields, along the edge of the forest and through the forest.

It snowed lightly overnight, everything was covered with a thin layer of snow.



So I got out of bed early and started running shortly after daybreak.



Everything was still twilight, there was a wonderful calm over the landscape.

Today it finally happened 😊

The snowshoes ❄️ were taken from the attic after years of a bleak existence. And after lunch we could start.



It was really fun to walk straight across the country with just a rough idea of a route in mind.



After a cold wind whistled around our noses towards the end, we now enjoy the cozy warmth.

The last few days would have been great weather for snowshoeing. Unfortunately it did not allow the work.



In return, I was all the more pleased that it was enough for a short but nice evening lap at dusk before the rain washes the snow away again in the coming days.

The hike today was a super nice spring hike.

At the same time it was my 100th Komoot tour 😊



The first spring flowers have already been seen everywhere and the birds have happily twittered to themselves. The sun was also really warm today ☀️☀️☀️



Was ideal for body, mind and soul 😊

Even if the weather was a bit strange today, we still had to get some fresh air.

Nice quiet evening after a day at home. After such a day of inactivity, there is only one thing to do - get some fresh air. And as so often, there was something new to discover again today heute

It was just a short walk after having coffee on Mother's Day. But the cut was unpredictably good. But it's because Komoot played a trick on me today and simply marked part of the route as a straight line 😊
