Most brilliant viewpoint in the southern Andes! But when the weather is nice, you should be early in the morning, otherwise the haze will impair the view.

An easy hike to two top viewpoints that are really worth it. It was especially nice that the condors circled above us. The route between the viewpoints also offers great photo opportunities in the direction of Fitz Roy.

The path is very steep in places, but it was worth the effort! Not only from the vantage point itself, but halfway through the route, the view was simply awesome. You can actually only get here with the Navimag ferry from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales (or vice versa). That was the only shore leave on this wonderful journey through the Chilean fjords.

The place is only very small, but you can also take a look at the unique surroundings. Some souvenirs are sold at the pier.

Nice little hike through a forest to various viewpoints of the waterfalls and an impressive rock face.

A small entrance fee is (not always) charged at the parking lot.

A very worthwhile stop while crossing the Andes by boat and bus from Bariloche to Puerto Varas.

The rapids are huge and even more impressive in front of the snow-covered volcano Osorno.

The lake is at the end of the road, in a cul-de-sac just before the Argentine / Chilean border. The path on the right bank after the suspension bridge had been impassable for several years in 2012.

The ferry trip with the Navimag is the most spectacular way to travel the Chilean fjords. An unforgettable experience!

In this very well-kept area there are numerous very good restaurants (steaks and Italians) with a view of the water. Even in very hot weather, it is bearable here.

This is one of the most exhausting and beautiful tours that we have done so far. The load is not only caused by the length and incline, but above all by the unexpected strong gusts of wind that throw you off balance every time. Nevertheless, the impressive landscape on the way is worth every drop of sweat.

Small hike at the beginning and end to the jetty and then a nice drive in the afternoon to the glacier edge.

This mini-trekking tour took the bus from El Calafate to Puerto Bajo las Sombras, near the Perrito Moreno Glacier. There they boarded a boat that took us to a camp on the other bank. Aborted due to sudden freezing heavy rain! Actually a nice hike, partly directly on the Rio Pingo and through a gorge.

The calm reservoir with the intense blue color is a nice place for a picnic.

The electricity generated is primarily used for an aluminum smelter.

Interesting bird sanctuary with many different bird species (water birds, birds of prey, songbirds).
