Short but crisp hike on the day of departure. Goodbye Elbe Sandstone Mountains! was really fun :)
I think the Bastebrückei is completely overrated. Certainly an impressive building and maybe the bridge had its charm before the construction of the hotel, restaurant, asphalted areas, parking, souvenir shop…

Short lap after two exhausting days. With the cog from Schandau to Wehlen and discovered a great area again. In addition to the "big" highlights, here you will find lonely and small, but sometimes really challenging trails that are great fun.

So today was such a day ... A path ended in front of a rope. A rope! Then it went 5-6m vertically up the wall. Over a steep slope because that's where the path ended. It was supposed to be a hiking tour, a small climbing tour - although I know that the transition here in the area is sometimes fluent…

I happened to choose exactly the right order. From hot chocolate (well, that was no coincidence) over the small Bärenstein to the large Bärenstein and further to my personal favorite of the tour, the Rauenstein, with this hammer panorama.
The area is well developed, but still the perfect idyll for an early morning walk after a rainy night. Everything is full and damp and green and almost deserted. But I don't even want to imagine what it's like here on a sunny afternoon.
