Giant Leap

We are a single mother and a 10-year old daughter bikepacking across Europe. The trip started at the End of Septepber 2023 and will take about 2 years. It is meant to be an environmental field trip - a voyage of discovery where we want to uncover the hidden tracks of the environmental crisis and delve into the mysteries that threaten our planet. But we don't just want to tell stories of sometimes hard-to-digest topics, but we will also encounter inspiring people, projects and places that dare to counteract the crisis, all while we are documenting our personal hard ships, fun times, growth and lessons learned.
Fun fact about me: I have never in my life even changed or fixed a flat tire (yet!)
Fun fact about my daughter: She didn't ride the bike until she was 8 years old - even cried every time as a very young kid when I offered her to try out a balance bike. Today, she absolutely loves to ride her bike as if it has always been this way.
