Covid 19 - Isolation Adventures

8 Week Lockdown Adventure as part of the Corona Virus Pandemic here in Girona, Spain - It's been a tough two months but theres finally some light at the end of the tunnel with more 'normal' exercise permitted from Monday 11th May.Super stoked that I didn't miss one training session. My motivation varied from day to day, but with a clear focus on my 'post lockdown' goals (albeit altered from the original 2020 goals,) I managed to dig deep and execute each session as prescribed .In addition to the riding itself, I spent more time focussing on my mobility and as a result, coupled with the riding itself, saw a huge increase in fitness and performance on the bike.A 7% increase in my FTP across 8 weeks is huge and shows just what is possible. Sure, I prefer riding outdoors, but sometimes we cant have what we want and for the sake of helping to save lives, spending time on my Wahoo Kickr has been key.With some big plans soon to be announced, i'll continue to ride my bike indoors until we're afforded some less restricted freedom. For now, I'm happy to enjoy an hour or two of walking outdoors, saving the real excitement for something big soon ;)Stay tuned, keep smiling and remain safe.#itsoknottobeok
