Marcin Surowiec is a so-called bushcraft expert — a true survival expert who cannot turn down any gritty outdoor adventure. He is also a mountain biker with a passion for ultramarathons. He first set eyes on the Pieniny Mountains on the border between Poland and Slovakia when he took part in the Carpatia Divide-Ultramarathon — a 372 mile (600 km) non-stop and unsupported solo adventure through the Carpathians Mountains. Faced with the relentless pressure of the race, he could not enjoy the views that passed him by so he decided to return one day to explore the region at a slower pace. This Collection showcases his return to the region – a wonderful bikepacking adventure. Thanks to e-MTB bikes, all bikers can master this ride regardless of how much experience they have in the great outdoors.

Zware e-mountainbikeroute. Goede conditie vereist. Alleen voor gevorderden. Het is mogelijk dat je in delen van de Tour met je fiets moet lopen.
Vertrekkend van Szczawnica, een rustig bergkuuroord, leidt de route u eerst naar de hellingen van Szafranówka, een berg die behoort tot de "Little Pienins" en 742 meter hoog is. Als je het hebt bereikt, heb je tegelijkertijd de grens met Slowakije bereikt en dit is precies wat de route een tijdje volgt…
