Muchos pasan media vida intentando encontrar una vocación, la profesión para la que han nacido.

Sentir la tierra y acariciarla con sus manos no bastaba; rodar sobre ella era otra buena manera de venerar el suelo que le vio nacer.Hace no tantos años las viñas en esta región eran muy residuales, crecían en aquellas fincas donde no crecía el cereal, que era el cultivo principal de la zona.
Igual que el gravel, que hasta hace muy poco no solo era residual, era más bien inexistente; una disciplina indefinida para la que no existía una bici ad hoc.Ahora Javier recorre la Rioja Alavesa sobre su Orbea Terra. Sube, baja, llanea. Un terreno muy cambiante donde se aprovecha la planicie cargada de parras y también el terreno más escarpado, una orografía repleta de pendientes y largos llanos que hacen daño en las piernas y que requieren una bici rodadora y que acompañe bien en el suelo pedregoso.En su caso, esta bici es la Terra M20I Team.
