Zachte heuvellandschappen van vulkanische oorsprong, dat is de Vulkaneifel.

Talloze Maare, Kaulen en vulkanische rotsen getuigen hiervan. Sommige paden zijn uitdagend, stevigheid en goed schoeisel moeten hier vanzelfsprekend zijn.

Today we finally headed for the Eifel again.

But first an important note. If you should follow this tour, please go in the other direction. We spontaneously decided to do the tour the other way around so that we could reach the Trass caves before the onslaught.

This hike was one of the most beautiful hikes, there was sooo much to see and do in a wonderful area.

Take your time for this demanding hike, we only hiked for 7 hours, but were over 13 hours. Again and again nice places invited to explore or to linger.
