Yesterday the 2nd stage from Chur to Disentis was unfortunately totally rainy. Only a few really tough ones drove. The rest of them have loaded their bikes and are on their way to their destination by bus.

Heavy rain in Bellinzona this morning. So plan B, by bus to Luino on Lake Maggiore. From there with two light showers past Lake Varese with the newly set goal Arona in the south of the Lagos. The hotel in Castelletto Ticino takes some getting used to.

The weather forecast for today was again not that great. So go early, the rain should not set in until the afternoon. So only a short stay in Navarre. Today in hazy weather through the beautiful hilly landscape of Piedmont towards the sun. In Asti the long-awaited summer weather with 30 degrees. On the way to Alba it was midsummer. So we could fully enjoy the flair of the cities we visited.

Today in beautiful cycling weather over the heights of the wine-growing region around Asti. With views as far as the Maritime Alps. Today there was a good bus lunch for lunch. Via the Ligurian hinterland we continued to the destination Millesimo.

Today the last stage over the Ligurian hinterland in the fog to San Bernardo. After a stopover, the fog was gone and we could enjoy the 15 km long descent to Finale Ligure. Then with your feet in the sea and the Alpine crossing 10 was mastered. We covered 508 km from Bregenz to Finale Ligure.
