@Stephen Phillips het zal ongeveer hetzelfde zijn als dit...

Een andere route proberen naar Hamilton. De wind in de rug gaf me een ongelooflijke duw wat resulteerde in PB's voor de 40km, 160km en 200km. Dit was niet de snelste route die ik had kunnen nemen, want het ging om een grindklim door Ohinewai Road (erg mooi). Top Road zou een snellere manier zijn geweest, maar het is wat het is.

Schitterend uitzicht op een hete lentedag!

Ride a loop back the other way. Easier than Huntly to Hamilton I think. And a great stop for coffee as well!

Good ride looping from Kaiaua to Miranda and back Stray Dog cafe serving excellent coffee as usual. Enjoyed the ride with Moi.

That was a long way up... shoulder was fine... and not as much gravel as I thought...

Out to Whatipu, back along Endeavour Dr, Scenic Drive and back to the start.

It's 06:00, two hours in, riding in the dark dark (like dark but darker...)as I approach the Hunua ranges. The temperature dropped below 10 degrees Celsius about 30 minutes ago and is continuing down to as low as 5.9 degrees. It won't be in double figures again till after 08:00. Was so much nicer this week than last! :)

First ride for the year, just how far can I ride on the cycle lane. Turns out there is about 74km of dedicated bike lane! Awesome day out, weird atmospheric effects caused by the smoke in the atmosphere from the Australian fires. 2pm and all the street lights are on! Cool day, 14.5 to 15.2 degrees… meer lezen

Apart from the wrong date, (actually done on 10/8/2019) this was a great ride.



A slow start, Zac and I made our way to the start of the Albany Highway and met Shiva. There is a bike lane alongside Albany Highway with most of the cycleway separated from the pedestrians. Seem to work really well. And… meer lezen
