Today we went cross-country skiing to the Kornberg :-).

Today we went on an idyllic winter hike in the Fichtegebirge away from the crowds with a sledge and bobsleigh. The starting point was the parking lot at the Sporthotel Fleckl. On this wonderful winter day we wanted to do our favorite tour right on our doorstep again .... Therefore our daughter drove us to the Sandler company in Schwarzenbach. From there we walked through the idyllic Lamitzgrund and on the Jean-Paul-Weg through the snow-covered landscape back to Oberkotzau. Just always beautiful ...

So there is still no snow like outside after work ... ‘Today we only went to the no man's land at the Czech border with a headlamp. The start was the sports field in Faßmannsreuth ... A grandiose, fascinating and spooky tour through the dark winter landscape 👻🌲🔦

From the parking lot directly on the road between Sparneck and Weissenstadt on the hilltop, we made our way to the Winter Wonderland. The trails are perfectly groomed and the cross-country skiers spread out great in the large trail area. We were mostly alone on the trail and enjoyed the brilliant winter… meer lezen

... and because it was so beautiful and you have to take advantage of the snow while it is still lying, we went to the Walberngreen Glacier again today. This time with floodlights and a headlamp. It was great, is in no way inferior to running during the day and has its own fascination 🤗

Since the weather forecast for today was better than for tomorrow, we set off despite the modest weather (it even snowed slightly at the beginning). At the weekend we went to the beautiful Bamberg region. From Kemmern we cycled along countless (excavator) lakes and along the Main to Bad Staffelstein, with Banz monastery and the Staffelberg always in view. Korte maar zeer mooie kustwandeling met prachtig uitzicht en veel zwemmogelijkheden op de zuidpunt van het eiland Ciovo. Het startpunt ligt ver achter Slatina, helemaal aan het einde van de grindweg.

Beautiful circular route with countless swimming opportunities (in the east and south) and many taverns with a view of the sea (in the west). The southern part leads through untouched nature and is particularly attractive.

Although the weather today was not great, we still set out ... luckily 😊 The round trip near Joditz along the Saale is always very nice !!

From the hiking car park in Joditz it went along the Saale over the Ameisensteig above the Lamitzmühle to the mouth of the Tannbach. At the old border crossing in… meer lezen
