Na twee tochten “voor de deur” ging ik vandaag naar de Eifel. Het weer was uiteindelijk beter dan ik eerder had gezegd, dus ging ik naar de Münstereifelsteig. Today's hike starts at the Monte Mare leisure pool in Rheinbach and we hike first south through the forest, later across meadows and along the edge of the forest to Kurtenberg. There we continue our way towards Eichen, pass the beautifully landscaped fish ponds there, walk through the forest to Berscheid… meer lezen

Really very nice tour in the finest weather. Interplay between waterways (Rur, Perlbach, etc.) and rocky climbs. At the end then through the wonderful Monschau.



A hike that I will certainly repeat again.

Nice little round in beautiful sunshine. Like all "dream pawns" suitable for families with small children, because the km are manageable. The transition at the Polcher Bach is certainly a highlight for the little ones. Because at warmer temperatures a short cooling down is certainly possible ...

Vandaag een mooi rondje met de familie uit Roetgen door de NSG Struffelt langs de Dreilägerbachtalsperre. Op een zonnige zondag worden de (momenteel modderige) paden druk bezocht. Helaas is een geplande brug voor de tocht vanwege de wateroverlast vorig jaar niet meer beschikbaar, waardoor een korte… meer lezen

Vandaag weer voor lange tijd in de mooie Rureifel en op het "Water-avonturenpad" op pad.

Vandaag met mijn maatje Schackie gewandeld in het "Winter Wonderland" in de Eifel.



We vertrokken vanaf de wandelparkeerplaats in de richting van Mützenich, waarvan de oorsprong van de naam later op deze tocht uit "Kaiser Karls Bettstatt" kwam. Van daaruit ging de zelf uitgestippelde route grotendeels… meer lezen
