You were there just recently.

A varied hike through red-flowering meadows and heath landscapes, through forests, dunes and ponds past. The four-legged friends had enough exercise, were partly at the towline (horses) and could swim in the ponds.

The starting area around the Venhof was very well frequented today on Sunday.

The heath begins to bloom. 😍

A very nice tour to both larger ponds, the Rolvennen-Weiher (often referred to as the Elven Sea) and the Elven Sea further to the east.

Suitable for hike with dog, here are many four-legged go. Poisonous baits are warned!

Beautiful landscape! A visit to the National Park Hoge Kempen is highly recommended.

Fantastic tour!

Our third tour in Flanders, which has completely inspired us (1st Connecterra, 2nd Hoge Kempen - Mechelse Heide, 3rd Hoge Kempen - Lanaken).

The route is one of the only two "premium hiking trails" in Belgium, which were classified as such by the German Hiking Institute.

A nice tour through heathland, dunes, forest and past ponds. The Brunsummerheide is as appealing to us as the heath and dune landscape on Oudsberg in Belgium (Tour National Park Hoge Kempen 5), but with white instead of yellow sand - also very interesting!

At the Teverener Heide we really liked the combination of extensive heathland and a multitude of lakes, ponds, ponds and moor ponds. The four-legged friends had a lot of fun and discovered the sheep wool tufts lying around in the heath landscape as toys.

The color combination in the Brunssummerheide from dead plant parts (yellow grasses, rust-red heath herbs), bright green young conifers and purple-flowering heathers is already very unusual and beautiful. 😍

One month ago, we were last in this heathland, it has now changed significantly - now the Erika blooms. In July, the red tones dominated, now it is the violet tones that stand out. Again it was wonderfully beautiful!

The Heideoute in the national park Hoge Kempen we like to go. It was a lot of fun today!

The Brunssummerheide is also beautiful in the fall! 😍



The Komoot Anniversary Tour, Tour 300, took us to the Teverener Heide. The track again made a lot of fun in late autumn!

A spontaneous appointment took place in Cologne, our "supporting program" was a hike in the Wahner Heide. It was fun and we were lucky with the weather - the sun was our constant companion today. 🌞🐾🐶

Our fifth tour in the National Park De Maasduinen took us to the Schandelosche Heide. A great hike in a beautiful landscape, the four-legged friends had a lot of fun in the extensive heathland.



Winter or spring? Today we had definitely spring in the beautiful Brunssummerheide.

Our first trip to the heathland this season. In the Brunssummerheide the heather already blooms in some places. A nice tour. The four-legged romped despite the heat a lot, were then flat accordingly.

The heath landscape near Exatenbosch and Beegderheide is particularly beautiful this year. We had a lot of fun with the colorful landscape!



In the extensive Hoge Kempen National Park near Lanaken we were able to hike very relaxed today - forests, heathland, meadows and ponds belonged to us for long stretches alone.
