Nagelfluh(-kette) Allgäu

A wonderful lap from Steibis over the Falken with 2 colleagues today!

In the morning the weather was still quite overcast and partly a bit fresh; after noon the sun came out fully.

The paths are usually easy to walk except for 2 places, once shortly before the summit and once on the descent, which requires… meer lezen

Since I spontaneously had to devote my head to the senile escape from bed this morning due to sudden insomnia: what could be more natural than to soak up the sun at last? Before the great Pentecostal mountain hype starts tomorrow, there was an idyllic round on the Grünten and the Burgberger Hörnle 🤩 this morning

Weather, food, drinks, the route and above all the views were FABULOUS!

Today, after a restful night and a good breakfast, we went up to the Übelhorn for the Jägerdenkmal.

Hannah has done well, really great! 👍🏼

The Grünten does not have such a real summit cross, that's what the monument is for.

In the gondola we talked to two young men, who immediately offered us to take us down to Oberstaufen with their car, which we gratefully accepted 👍🏼😄

In Oberstaufen gabs then also eeeeendlich the well-deserved cyclists and delicious dinner! 🍻

Dag 2 van Alpe Gund via het bergpad van de E5 - Stuiben, Steineberg, Bärenköpfle en Mittagberg terug naar Immenstadt.

De weg over de bergkam was absoluut geweldig!

1st day Immenstadt through the Steigbachtobel to the Alpe Gund.

The path through the Steigbachtobel is a wonderfully beautiful path along the water cascades of the Steigbach.

Below the cascades are always small blue "lakes", which invite the temperatures for refreshment.

Today a detour to the Nagelfluhkette.

Although it is not entirely clear to me why the owner belongs there; the rocks are granite chunks and some slate ... 🤷🏼‍♀️😉

Met perfect wandelweer 🌞🌞🌞 gingen we de stenen berg op, de ladder op en verder langs de bergkam.

We hebben veel lol gehad, avontuurlijke ontdekkingen van nieuwe routes, veelbelovende (top)momenten, culinaire lekkernijen, spiritueel… meer lezen

Voor en met mijn lieve collega's, die hopelijk in de toekomst weer met mij de bergen in gaan (😊🤭), heb ik een 2-daagse bergtocht gepland met een overnachting in een hut; we zijn zaterdag begonnen!

Als je wilt weten wat er met de auto's aan de hand is op dag 1: Om 6 uur 's ochtends merkten we dat de autosleutel van de 2e auto, waarmee we aan het einde van de tour terug wilden naar de 1e auto... Helaas in de 1 .auto gedumpt! 😂😂😂🙈

Testrit aanstaande zondag!

Na wekenlang last te hebben gehad van acute onderkoeling, heb ik vandaag deze variant geprobeerd 😀

Ik hoorde van @CaDi dat klimmen over de Brunnenau weer mogelijk was, en dat was nog net op tijd!

Omdat ik besef dat ik nog steeds langzaam moet gaan, nam ik de tijd en liep bijna… meer lezen

@T.Acki en ik zijn vandaag op pad gegaan voor een prachtige rit op de Grünten.

We zijn begonnen in Kranzegg, de parkeerplaats daar: bijna leeg?

Dat verraste ons; Was het niet zondag en waren de weersvoorspellingen best goed?
