Today we left Loutro and walked from there past the Marmara Bay, along the coastal path to Agia Roumeli. It was pretty hot and the only shade was a piece of pine forest. Stop and cool off in the sea in Agio Pavlos.

Today we went on a coastal hike to the Chapel of the Prophet Elias. The chapel is located on a steep hill, which can be seen from Sougia in an easterly direction. The path through the lush, shady Irini Gorge begins near Sougia. At the end of the gorge, it goes straight on into the Figou gorge, up to 950 m.

Old Kalderimis (donkey paths) then led us to the mountain village of Agia Irini, where we of course stopped again.
