Kontakt:

So far we have always been on the road with 🚴 in Märkische Schweiz. So it was high time for a hike. We largely stuck to a tour that RaMona recently completed. You have searched in vain for bright colors today. The almost non-stop snowfall turned everything into a winter landscape, which we were very happy about ⛄. The last section of the hike on the panorama path around the Schermützelsee was a bit adventurous - constant ups and downs on partly very smooth paths. The relaxed tour ended where it started, i.e. at the Brecht School in Buckow. By the way, it was amazing how many hikers there were!

After an appointment in FFO, stretch your feet a little and hiked over the city bridge to Slubice.
Unfortunately, the weather was pretty cold and wet and the sky was gray and in view of Corona there was hardly any pre-Christmas mood in Slubice either.
Nevertheless: movement is everything!
Wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - with a view to Corona - hopefully a better New Year. Stay healthy!11 december 2020

A great hike from Falkenberg to Bad Freienwalde carried out under the proven guidance of Frank Meyer. First completed a few meters of altitude on the quite demanding Oderlandweg and visited the Bismarck Tower. In Bad Freienwalde we passed the Eulenturm and the ski jumps over the Fürstenquelle to the observation tower before we finished the tour at the train station in Bad Freienwalde. Thanks to Frank for the flawless planning and implementation!

Started from Strausberg train station in ideal cycling weather. This time I also took some photos of the beautiful brick church in Bliesdorf, where I was amazed to find that you can still see bullet holes in the masonry 75 years after the end of the war.
Once at the Europabrücke, construction work could finally begin on the German side. It remains to be seen whether it will be released for cyclists and pedestrians in 2021 !?
From Niederwutzen, the most westerly point in Poland was soon reached - a beautiful resting place with a great view of the Oder. From there it went on the German side on the Oder-Neisse cycle path with a stop at the Cyclist Church in Kienitz to Küstrin and with the RB 26 to the west.6 september 2020

Today's tour was very MTB-heavy in the truest sense of the word. The famous Peitzer fish ponds were reached through mixed and pine forests, along field and meadow paths. The way back was initially along the Spree on the flood protection dikes. Then again largely through the forest on sometimes very demanding sandy paths. The ancient, but mostly dead, oaks around Straupitz were striking.
After yesterday's storm, only strong wind blew today, but I didn't really notice it in the forest.27 augustus 2020

Professional commitments have brought me to the Spreewald again. Since it didn't stop raining until the afternoon, there was only time for a short circuit, which was enough in the end with the strong wind.
The city of "Kalauer" was at least an interesting experience.26 augustus 2020

When the weather was very nice, we started in Bremerhaven and made slow progress because the port facility is simply huge and there were always interesting things to marvel at. After that we mostly rode next to the dike on great bike paths and were very relaxed after the "tests" of the past few days. In addition, we only had around 50 km to go! Halfway there was of course a delicious "pan fish" - how could it be otherwise !?
The landscape hardly changed in contrast to the previous stages. In addition to the obligatory dike, we drove through several villages (there are no cities between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven), past farms, pastures with horses and cattle or a former mill.
Shortly before Cuxhaven, we helped a lady repair her bike.
In the end we have conquered the entire length of the Weser and can confirm that the accompanying cycle path is one of the most beautiful with frequent similarities to the Danube.19 augustus 2020

On our stage today, Petrus understood - the weather was great. Nevertheless, our departure from Bremen was delayed a bit, because you can't just "take" this city with you on a bike tour. There is so much to discover and marvel at! The trip was pure pleasure and mostly in the immediate vicinity of the Weser. So we drove past the former airfield in Lemwerder and treated ourselves to a treat from the Melkhus in Ohrt. We soon reached Elsfleth. Here we wanted to look at the three-master Grand Duchess Elisabeth. Unfortunately, the ship left on the occasion of the Grand Duchess' 111th birthday.
In Brake there was fragrant coffee with plum cake before we went to Blexen and reached our destination Bremerhaven with the Weser ferry.18 augustus 2020

In wonderful weather we started at the Weser bridge with a view of the Kaiser Wilhelm monument and soon left Minden to the left and drove on fantastic bike paths right next to the Weser. Amazingly, there were a lot of cyclists on the road, but it was also Sunday. We reached Stolzenau via Petershagen. Just in time to take our lunch during the downpour on duty. Unfortunately, the bike path then led largely on paths beyond the Weser, which we always knew to be relatively close. In Nienburg there was only a short stop for an isotonic drink and sometimes we looked worriedly at the sky, whether something was brewing again, because it was well over 30 km to Hoya. Fortunately, we were spared and happily reached today's goal. The many windmills we passed were also noticeable.
