Over Carsten
..bin vor 2012 nur sporadisch MTB gefahren und war eher im Fußball aktiv. Nach einem Achillessehnenriss in 2012 durfte ich als erstes wieder Fahrradfahren und so wurden die Radtouren immer mehr. In 2016 habe ich dann mein altes 26er MTB durch ein 29er Fully ersetzt und bin nun regelmäßig unterwegs. Die Touren werden jetzt länger und anstrengender :-)
Seit Juli habe ich mir nun auch noch ein Rennrad zugelegt und als Ausgleich zu den MTB-Touren, mache ich nun auch hiermit ein paar Runden im Westerwald.

How nice that today we managed to do one last lap together in 2020.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the tours this year, who planned them and especially to those who cursed :-) (I was often there too).
I hope we can do a few more tours together in 2021!
I wish everyone a good start in 2021 and hope that I will meet and get to know one or the other in person.30 december 2020

Many thanks to Arnd who did the towing for me today.I drove flat and took out the broken tube to find out that the replacement tube doesn't fit because the valve is too thick for the rim hole -> beginner's mistake! Got the hose as a gift and just packed it in the saddlebag after the last breakdown without checking whether it fits. That won't happen to me again.At the beginning of the tour there was a bike on the fence and no one was to be seen. I called out loud, but no one answered either. Hope the bike wasn't stolen somewhere!
Later a woman went for a walk with two goats in the forest, you don't see that every day!
