When I passed Haus Escherde on Wednesday, the sheep were bleating very loudly. Unfortunately, you cannot visit the estate.

@Olaf & Burkhard: With the hazy weather on the descent, I would not have expected it to clear up (and wind up) so quickly. I didn't even plan to take any photos at all.

@Stefan: I always take a look at the gate in Haus Escherde. Maybe someday I will run into someone who will invite me in 😉 ...
