Boizenburg calls itself "Tile City on the Elbe". As the name suggests, it is not directly on the Elbe, but on the Boize. The Elbe does not flow far away, but the brew has been flowing in between since 1983. Well, it doesn't matter, the Elbe is better known, sounds better and is always very present here…
Very nice and very informative!
Sounds interesting.
Very nice!
Do you know why the arches are made of willow (?)?
And what strikes me a lot, there are no people around. Many people stick to staying at home.
You showed us an interesting tour. thanks
Thank you.
@ Karin - yes, it's good that you asked that. The willow arches are the "symphonic willow walk / willow snail". A nationally known highlight that was already set here, but was deleted by mistake. I have now reset it and hopefully it will stay that way now. 😊
The half-timbered houses are really very beautiful, thanks for the inspiration for the time when you can travel again.
Beautifully flowing images - series
💪💪💪💪👌👌👌👍👍👏 !!!
Thank you, Simona & Herbert. It was also a really nice tour. The next few days, unfortunately, bad weather is announced again. I think I'd better stay at home.
Everyone slides in well and stays healthy
Nice tour and great pictures👍🏻 I grew up in Boizenburg and developed incredibly. Especially the ramparts or Altendorf are absolutely worth seeing.
Thank you, well. You have a very beautiful hometown and then you know your way around very well. It was definitely interesting to witness the development of the place on site
very nice tour with an immense photo series, which we like as always
Thank you, Jk🙂
