Boizenburg calls itself "Tile City on the Elbe". As the name suggests, it is not directly on the Elbe, but on the Boize. @ Karin - yes, it's good that you asked that. The willow arches are the "symphonic willow walk / willow snail". A nationally known highlight that was already set here, but was deleted by mistake. I have now reset it and hopefully it will stay that way now. 😊

The half-timbered houses are really very beautiful, thanks for the inspiration for the time when you can travel again.

Nice tour and great pictures👍🏻 I grew up in Boizenburg and developed incredibly. Especially the ramparts or Altendorf are absolutely worth seeing.
