The route is also good for gravels. Only the path between Walschleben and Dachwig was a somewhat uncomfortable paved path. Otherwise almost everything is solid ground. From Ballscht to Schwerscht there is unfortunately no bike path and there is a lot of truck traffic. So ensure visibility!

A little tip from the locals: where you turned right on the Plattenweg after Herbschleben, straight up through the mountain, through Tenschdt through towards Kutzleben and on the other side of the valley follow the old Tenschdter Straße towards Gangloffsömmern ... is full of abandoned cherry trees 😉

Komoot wanted to guide me diagonally up towards Ballhausen at the small bridge. Thanks to massive and tall nettles, that would have been a continuous Kneipp cure
