Today, next to the Edersee cycle path or circular path, sections of the primeval forest and Kellerwaldsteig are built in again and again, although not allowed everywhere - but absolutely awesome 👌👍

On weekdays, when, as expected, there are few people on the road, you can steal on forbidden routes.

On weekends this only brings stress and anger.

It's a shame that many trails are reserved for hikers, but it just doesn't seem to work any other way

Today was really little going on at the Edersee, on the weekend I would rather not drive on the Urwaldsteig 🥴- could be a complaint 😅

The actual bike path mostly goes along the shore and the hiking trails 100-150m further up, and are always beautifully root-free and stony👌

... but the lake is jam-packed with water right now, isn't it?

Because I read the days that the water had to drain and thus the bridge and other sunken places are not visible. But it doesn't matter, the main thing is outside in the air ;-)

The Eder and Diemelsee lakes are very full at the moment. Both of them gave off water last week, so to speak, they overflowed.

The Aseler bridge and the foundation walls of the sunken places can only be seen at low tide. If you are interested you have to take a look at my tour from November 15th, 2020 🙋‍♂️

Nice round. I drove around there last summer and had myself navigated via Komoot. There were places that somehow weren't there. In places it was an adventurous tour🙈

@Marion the (ER) Edersee Rundweg is actually very well signposted, as are the hiking trails.

But with Komoot Navigation, a tour is mostly adventurous 😅
