Christoph, I also had the backpack with a hydration bladder, something for munching and all the stuff that women carry with them on tour 🤣 That’s definitely even better if you go straight to the bike park and can just enjoy it without luggage ... Next time 😉

Yes, you should really do it without a jelly. It is particularly good if the backpack is too long / high, you push your head back because of the slope and the backpack pushes the helmet in your face😵😠
