Unfortunately, the technology failed and I could not record the complete tour. Therefore here is a short description of the route:Start of the tour was in St.Gervais les Bains. There we spent time (weather window) and save energy with the Tramway du Mont Blanc to the Nid d'Aigle at 2380m. Ticket costs 37 €.
At the top, the announced thunderstorm was directly above us and we had to spend the night in the Nid d'Aigle hut. 48 € with dinner.
The next morning we then set off to our actual destination, which was planned for the first stage. The Tête Rousse Glacier. There we pitched our bivouac and took a closer look at the entrance to the Grand Couloir. The Grand Couloir is a rocky outcrop that is exposed to heavy rockfall all year round and therefore has to be walked with extreme caution. You hear the Falling Stones a few seconds before you get to see them, so you have to time the passage of the gutter. The rest of the day we rested, ate and melted snow to replenish our water supplies.
At 00:15 we left for the summit ascent. With headlamps on our helmets, we passed the Grand Couloir without any problems and then went up for approx. 2h over some very exposed hiking trails to climbs in 2nd to 3rd degree to Goûter Hütte on 3782. From here we had to put on crampons and are in a Zweierseilschaft over the Dôme du Goûter (4304m) to the Vallot bivouac hut. There we took a short break to eat sheltered from the wind and adapt our clothes to the increasingly windy and colder conditions. From here we went over the Petite and the Grand Bosses (4513m / 4547m) up to the summit of Mont Blanc. On the summit we could not stay up five minutes because strong wind and cold at a standstill were unbearable.
Then we went back the complete way and were back at our bivouac at 11:30. Once there, we had to completely exhausted dismantle our tent and make us on the way back to Nid D'Aigle, from where we went back to the valley with the tramway. All in all the tour was exhausting for us inexperienced flatlanders, nerve-racking and very adventurous but quite feasible ;-)For the individual danger spots of the tour, there is a lot of information on the Internet. (you should have a look in advance ...)

😊 G҉R҉U҉E҉S҉S҉E҉ Naar de C҉O҉M҉M҉U҉N҉I҉T҉Y҉ 🔝👍
