The shore path also gives you a view of the village of Winznau, which is embedded between Aare and the southern slope of the Dottenberg. Insight into the history of the village On 23 panels set up from the Rankwog to the Oakwood, there are texts that point to historical events in different epochs, to historical developments and changes, and to give an insight into the history of the village. The topics chosen are mainly focused on landmarks that are clearly visible from the canal bank. They are dealt with conclusively on a board and find no continuation on the next.
