De brouwerij Beck GmbH & Co. KG produceert bieren en gemengde bierdranken voor de Duitse en internationale markt onder de merknaam Beck's. In 2002 werd het gekocht door de Belgische Interbrew-groep. In 2004 werden Interbrew en Companhia de Bebidas das Américas (AmBev) met InBev de grootste brouwerijgroep ter wereld. De fusie van InBev en Anheuser-Busch werd eind 2008 Anheuser-Busch InBev. [2]

In 2017, according to Statista statistics, Becks converted beer in the total volume of "around 2.5 million hecto-liters", which equates to 250 million liters and thus almost 500 million beer bottles (0.5l) - not bad! Becks undoubtedly is one of the best-known beer brands in Germany and also has a good reputation worldwide. The Bremen-based beer was founded in 1873 and today belongs to "Anheuser-Busch InBev", which unite several large breweries. These include Budweiser (American Laher), Corono or Leffe.
There are a total of 12 different Becks varieties in Germany, which can roughly be classified in the categories "Pilsner", "Taste the world", "Beer Mix", "Non-Alcoholic" and "Perfect Draft".
At "Pils" probably also the best known varieties are found: Namely the original "Beck's Pils" and "Beck's Gold", which has a less tart taste. Under "Taste the world" understand the Becks makers more unusual varieties that remind of craft beer. So there are "Red Ale", "Pale Ale", "Amber Lager" and the "Becks 1873 Pils", which is to meet the taste of the first Becks beer. "Beer Mix" includes Beck's with lime & mint, as well as lemon and elderberry flavor. Becks Beer Mix drinks have an alcohol content of 2.5% and are similar to Radler / Alster. The non-alcoholic varieties of Becks are based on the well-known Pils and Green Lemon, which is sold as a mix drink without alcohol content. Finally, there is "Perfect Draft", which describes Becks draft beer. Below we list all Becks varieties again.
