De volgende dag regende het hevig en er was geen uitzicht op verbetering van het weer - dus gingen we eerst met de trein terug naar huis om 10 dagen later de tour voort te zetten, via Arlberg en Brenner naar Corvara.

The journey through the Piave Valley and on the former railway line to Cortina d’Ampezzo is a great experience. For the wonderful ride from Cortina to Toblach, the unpaved cycle path on the railway line can be used to the Cimabanche Pass. For the descent to Dobbiaco, the road is more preferable, at least for bikes with narrow tires.

Bedankt, we hadden veel geluk en op 9 van de 10 vakantiedagen een strakblauwe lucht en goed zicht. We zijn erg blij dat we in het gastvrije Zuid-Tirol zijn, ook vanwege de goede bussen en treinen die dankzij de MobilCard gratis zijn.
