Simple very nice tour with a unique levada through the steep cliffs. Every now and then you get a lame feeling without a barrier.

Great tour. Is every effort worth it! At the end you get back on the road. We tramped back. German tourists have taken us the remaining 3 km by car.



In between was shut off-no matter we got through and a bit wet anyway. In bad weather actually prefer not to go on!

A varied tour along the Pico Grande with its ridge, then along the laurel forests.

Nice tour. Very exciting because we accidentally chose a wrong path and had to turn back. Very exciting the old Levada with lots of bushes, brambles and climbing. We had to turn around because a big Gelsen blocked the way

Pico Ruivo is recommended in the morning, before all the tourists start the tour at 11.00. It is an easy tour to the mountain.

This tour is very nice but full of tourists. Take good sunscreen and hat - there is no shade!

The 25 springs should be visited very early, otherwise it is overcrowded by tourists. After tunnel it is very quiet and unique due to the fire several years ago

A bit lost in the banana plantations, but otherwise an alternative without a car
