EifelSpuren und EifelSchleifen

A very beautiful EifelSpur with wide views from the heights and of course the highlight, the castle iff Reifferscheid. The great nature and of course the beautiful weather complete the tour. 🤗🙋🏻‍♂️

The Wachholderheide near Alendorf and the Lampertstal nature reserve are among the absolute highlights of the Eifel. This beautiful Eifel trail is definitely recommended. Fantastic views of the upper Ahr valley can be found as well as many butterflies and rare meadow flowers. 🙋🏻‍♂️TOP 👍

No 👎 nobody has to do this tour!

Although I have otherwise praised the Eifel loop. I cannot recommend this circular route. A lot of asphalt, straight tracks through economic fields, hardly any shade, little variety. 😩

Today the Eifel Loop Breakfast Beech! 💁‍♂️

The name promises a lot, but the old beech tree in the Nettersheim forest breathed its life out during the storm Wibke (1992).

The tour is still pretty nice. Highlights are the Roman remains in and near Nettersheim. But the nature in the area is very beautiful 👍

Today we went to the Hühnerberg (533 m) ⛰.

The tour "Durchs Auelbachtal" starts according to the description in Lommersdorf and then goes over the Hühnerberg down into the Auelbachtal.

I recommend starting this beautiful EifelSchleife Fuchshöhle at the Forsthaus junction on Urfttalstraße in Gillesbach Valley. Then you have marble and the view heights to the middle of the tour.

The Eifel loops are beautiful round tours in the Northern Eifel. Today we decided to take the “Himmel un Ääd” route around Floisdorf near Zülpich. A wonderful round trip through green valleys and over great heights. Through the Rotbach valley and over the old Via Agrippa.



Tip:

Make sure to make a detour to the bank on the very promising mountain spur at NSG Rotbach!

We started the tour at the Roman Temple hiking car park. Then you hike first uphill and later downhill. If you want, you can take a coffee or beer break halfway in Zingsheim☕️🍻.

The attraction of the tour is undoubtedly the Roman temple complex. Definitely worth seeing! 👍

Use the good weather and made the EifelSpur water for Cologne with a few special routes and shortcuts! Fantastic landscapes and insights into the Roman past.

The entire herb trail run by Nordeifel Tourismus GmbH is 42 km long. So I halved the hiking trails and planned them as circular hikes.



So today the herb trail part 1 from Pesch to Nettersheim and back via Zingsheim (18.8 km).

Nice round with highlights from the Roman period and natural beauties of the Eifel! Great 👍

This circular hike from Zingsheim to the Kakushöhle and back via Weyer leads through the hilly heights of the Kartstein Eifel and offers unbelievably beautiful views across the country! 👍 A part of the way leads along the motorway, but the traffic was limited.

The Eifel loop 13 springs runs through 2 idyllic stream valleys and through nature reserves worth seeing. Unfortunately only a few banks on the way.

I recommend starting the tour in Frauenkron, first uphill, then downhill.

A really very promising tour 🥾🎒. Only the last km along the road is stupid!

🤗 Wat een heerlijk ☀️☀️ zonnig weer. Laten we dus de Eifel in gaan. Er gaan een paar wandelaars met me mee.



Als de temperaturen nog ijzig zijn, beginnen we in Zingsheim en wandelen 🥾 over zonnige paden op de goed bewegwijzerde Eifellus "Kakushöhle en Kartsteinhöhe"!

In feite zijn er veel prachtige uitzichten op deze ronde. En de lente met zijn felle kleuren is een lust voor het oog 🤗🌼
