Radtouren im Allgäu

Deze prachtige fietstocht was de start in september 2020 in de Allgäu, wat ons beloont met prachtig weer. 🌞 Minpuntje: bij het verlaten van de Vils richting Unterau moet je je fiets ongeveer een kilometer heel steil de berg op duwen 😤. Maar toch een aanrader ronde ️

Nice cycling tour with start and finish in Pfronten. From the Austrian Vilstal you can get to the Bavarian fairytale castles via the Lech and Via Claudia "from behind". 🏰

Then via Füssen and the Forggensee to the Hopfensee. Here we use the Königsee-Bodensee cycle path, which we were missing in this section… meer lezen

Today we made up for a stage on the Königsee – Bodensee – Radweg that we couldn't ride in 2015 due to the weather. It goes from Grüntensee over Oy and past the Rottachsee ⛵️to Sonthofen. This great bike tour is our last stage on the Königsee-Bodensee-Radweg, which we had to break off prematurely in 2015 due to a thunderstorm. It goes from Oberstaufen in nice ups and downs first to Röthenbach. Then in a wide curve mostly downwards to Hergatz and finally to Lindau on Lake Constance.

This bike tour is a mountain show event! ⛰⛰ The Tannheimer Tal with its striking peaks and the mountains of Lech and Vils offer incredibly beautiful views. The bike tour first leads from Grüntensee via Pfronten along the Steinacher Ache to the "Enge" border crossing (1147 m) in the Tannheimer Tal. 🏡

From there via Tannheim and Schattwald to the Oberjochpass (1200 m) and here steeply down towards Sonthofen. ⛰

We didn't start until noon. But the bike tour in the hinterland of the mountains had some delightful moments. The area around Oy-Mittelberg is definitely worth a visit! 👍🙋🏻‍♂️🏔
