For this year's cycle tour we have chosen the Havel cycle path. And because you can complete this beautiful long-distance cycle path with just 2 more stages to a round trip, we started the tour today at the mouth of the Havel. The first stage leads from Havelberg to Pritzwalk!

The 2nd stage shone with great forest bike paths and very beautiful Romanesque village churches. Then the beautifully prepared town of Wittstock on the Dosse, with its bishop's castle and the Brink wall around it. Dressed up nicely!

The 3rd stage of our Havel bike tour leads from Waren an der Müritz through forests and fields to the Müritz National Park. The Havel cycle path is signposted from Waren. Then very nice bike roads and paths to the Schliemann Museum and the source of the Havel.

The 4th stage of our Havel bike tour offered us not only great bike paths and bike roads through woods and meadows but also a lot of history.



Immediately behind the water town of Fürstenberg / Havel is the site of the former Ravensbrück concentration camp. A tank stands as a memorial for the liberation… meer lezen

No, this bike tour from Oranienburg via Berlin Spandau to Potsdam was not as great as the previous stages. 🤨 But there were already a couple of nice bike rides. However, zigzag driving in the streets of Berlin-Spandau with many construction sites was not much fun.

The 6th stage of our Havel bike tour starts in Potsdam. Of course we first cycle to the former royal palace of Sanssouci! 🏰 Great! 🤗 No foreign guests, due to Corona. So we cycle around undisturbed.

With this 7th bike tour we have completed the Havel bike tour. We start at the castle in Plaue / Havel and cycle via Havelsee to Premnitz. The ferry ⛴ takes us over to Milow.
