Lauenburger Schloss

The Lauenburg Castle over the city Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein was eponymous for the Duchy of Lauenburg. It was destroyed by shelling by Imperial Artillery in 1656. Vanaf Kasteel Lauenburg is er een prachtig uitzicht. Maar je hebt een beetje geluk nodig om bij mooi weer een plekje op een bankje te vinden.

Op de eerste verdieping van de kasteeltoren zijn gevangeniscellen ingericht, die nog origineel zijn ingericht. In de top zie je de klokken en een oude mechanische klok.
