A giant heart-shaped arch

A giant heart-shaped arch had been installed on the Place d'Armes, in the heart of Luxembourg where usually the Christmas Market would have taken place."Christmas lights have immersed the capital in a magical and festive atmosphere since 20 November and until 10 January. Alongside traditional illuminations, a series of very special and innovative decorations aim to impress passers-by. Overall there are more than 700,000 light points, some sparkling, some not, spread across the city. As for the new elements, in addition to the illuminated trees in Avenue de la Liberté, a giant heart-shaped arch has notably been installed at the Place d’Armes, while decorations bearing the effigy of the Péckvillercher have appeared in the Old Town. Christmas trees will be on sale in various places – Place Léon XIII in Bonnevoie, Glacis, Place Jean Heinisch and Boulevard Pierre Dupong – until 24 December." city.vdl.lu
