Pont-Aven village

Het kleine molenstadje Pont Aven ligt idyllisch in de groene monding van de gelijknamige rivier de Aven. Hij werd vooral beroemd omdat Paul Gauguin hier in de 19e eeuw drie zomermaanden doorbracht en veel van zijn beroemdste werken hier zijn gemaakt. Terwijl je door de stad en over de bruggen slentert, kun je je levendig voorstellen hoe de poëzie van deze landschappen kunstenaars van toen en nu inspireert.
