De Grundmühle, anno 1794, ligt in het idyllische Weißbach-dal, in het district Töttelstädt. De molen is een van de meest populaire excursiebestemmingen in de buurt van Erfurt.
Grundmüller Matthias Eichhorn, de huidige eigenaar, verwierf de molen in 1991.

A great stop for a break. Nice host and good food. Currently closed due to Corona.

Very cozy, the food is prepared from ingredients from the local country butcher shop. We enjoyed it. It was also very well attended, which speaks for the basic mill.

You just hike the paths through the forest and swoosh, there is the basic mill. It was very delicious. Gladly again.
