The Tauber Valley Cycle Path meanders through the lovely Tauber Valley from Rothenburg ob der Tauber to Wertheim am Main. Picturesque landscapes with rolling hills, wide meadows and romantic forests accompany it. Old castles, monasteries and pretty half-timbered towns line the Tauber like pearls — something that makes this route one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Baden-Württemberg.

"Lovely Tauber Valley" is the official name of the Tauber Valley Cycle Path and it lives up to its name: the cycle path is the only cycle path in Baden-Württemberg to have been awarded five stars by the ADFC. So that you can fully enjoy this wonderful cycle path on your next ride, we bring it to you in three stages in this Collection. The stages of the approximately 62-mile (100-kilometer) long Tauber Valley Cycle Path are between 18 and 25 miles long (30 and 40 kilometers) and largely flat. This means that hobby cyclists and families can also enjoy themselves. As a more ambitious cyclist, you can also simply combine several stages.

The start and end points of the Tauber Valley Cycle Path, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Wertheim, can be easily reached by train. As you go, you'll also have the possibility to change to the train in Weikersheim, Bad Mergentheim, Lauda-Königshofen and Tauberbischofsheim, if you want to take a shortcut or if the weather is no longer good. In addition to the excellent public transport connections, you can also look forward to great bike infrastructure on the way along the Tauber to its mouth in the Main, with superb accommodation options available, as well great places to refuel.
