Traumpfade Rhein-Mosel-Eifel

One of my absolute favorite tours with the historic center of Monreal, the ruins of the Löwenburg and Philippsburg Castle and the sometimes wonderful narrow paths.

This time, unlike last year, I hiked the tour clockwise (as described in the original tour), so I would recommend it too.

Today I was on one of the "dream paths" again. A wonderful tour at this time of year ... what might it look like when the bushes along the way or the Blumenrath Heath ?! 😀👍🏻

Although there is no rest stop on the way, there are many nice rest areas.

Vandaag was ik na enige tijd weer op een van de "droompaden".

Hoewel dit niet langer een insidertip is, zijn ze altijd (zoals deze) een aanbeveling waard.

De liefdevol geschilderde vogelhuisjes langs de weg zijn een leuk idee.

Varied tour, mostly on wide forest trails. Contains two short but crisp climbs: to the Teufelskanzel and on the way back from Lacher See.

In between a longer stretch on dirt roads, which was not quite as attractive with the harvested fields, but also real dream paths as the name promises!

Leuke kleine wandeling met prachtig uitzicht op de Moezelvallei op Hatzenport en Löf evenals de Ehrenburg.

De tour begint met een behoorlijk inspannende klim.

Prachtige tour die de titel "Traumpfad" verdient.

Het hoogtepunt van de rondwandeling is ongetwijfeld de Ehrenburg, maar de uitzichten op de Moezelvallei, zoals vanaf de Teufelslay of het pad langs de Brodenbach met de "Donnerloch" laten het hart van de wandelaar sneller kloppen.

Weer een mooie rondweg uit de serie droompaden Rijn-Moezel-Eifel.

Bijzonder mooi zijn de paden door de wijngaarden boven Oberfell en Alken, het uitzicht op de Moezelvallei en natuurlijk een bezoek aan kasteel Thurant.

Alken biedt goede plekken om te stoppen voor een verfrissing.
